On May 16th, the Christian Life in London team along with 500 others gathered together for the annual London Christian Prayer Breakfast. If you were not one of the 500, you missed something special. We will be sure to publicise the 2014 event well in advance so you can experience this rather than just read about.

This event is hosted by the Christian Churches Network of London and thanks to the tireless efforts of the organizing committee; it was a flawless, extremely inspirational 90 minutes. Eric Stolte, President of Navigators Canada was the Master of Ceremonies of the Prayer Breakfast and with his usual professionalism, outstanding public speaking talents and whit, Eric kept the crowd engaged from start to finish. The band from West London Alliance is top notch musicians and the guests truly enjoyed their upbeat performance of gospel music. The highlight of the event was Keynote Speaker Lorna Dueck the host and executive producer of the popular television program; Context with Lorna Dueck. (More details at

Lorna is a wonderful speaker and, with rare reference to notes, her presentation was far more than just interesting - it was challenging. She spoke of the less than favourable state of Christianity in Canada and the obligations we have to turn the tide on its diminished influence in the political decision making. In the next edition of Christian Life in London we will be featuring an article by our "roving reporter" Haydn Jensen, on Lorna's presentation.
