FBI Special Agent Lincoln St. John is living his own personal nightmare. When the woman he loves, Allison Radcliffe, is killed, he devotes his life to tracking down the killers and making them pay for their crimes. He expected it to be a challenge. What he never expected was to find Allison very much alive shortly after her "murder." As his anger and hurt mix with relief, Linc isn't sure how he's supposed to feel. One thing he does know for sure: he and Allison will have to work together to stop a killer before she dies a second time--this time for good.

Bestselling and award-winning author Lynette Eason closes out her Blue Justice series with a story that will have you tearing through the pages to get to the stunning conclusion.

Admittedly, I was rather sad to see this series end, but I couldn't have asked for a better finale!

Vow of Justice is a wild ride from page one. The action starts there and doesn't stop until the epilogue. With many twists and turns, my adrenaline was almost constantly racing. Eason explores a variety of themes, including forgiveness and trusting God. Linc St. John and Allie Radcliffe are both very realistic characters, and, after seeing Linc featured in the previous three books, I was excited to finally read his story.

All in all, Vow of Justice is an explosive finale to the Blue Justice series! I highly recommend it to lovers of good suspense with a touch of romance.

A really good who-dun-it with threads of suspense. I figured out a bad guy early, but was way off on why and what his ultimate endgame was. I love that. And the way it tied loosely to earlier books is a nice reward for those who have read the earlier installments, but will not distract from the enjoyment of the book if this is your first in the series. And the spiritual thread was perfect! Great romance as well. Basically, this book had it all.

While I cannot believe Derek’s book is going to be in a completely different series (he’s the only sibling to not get a book in the Blue Justice series, which simply doesn’t make sense to me), I rather enjoyed Linc’s action-packed story, which finishes out the Blue Justice saga. It was a well-written tale that kept me interested throughout, even when I guessed correctly (sometimes WAY ahead of time) what was going to happen or who certain bad guys were. To me, this was one of Mrs. Eason’s more predictable stories, but I still enjoyed it a lot (and a few of my friends found it quite Unpredictable). The attention to detail (price of an expensive car, types/names of weapons) lent an air of authenticity that enhanced my reading experience.

This book never really wowed me, but it’s possible that was due in part to my rebounding from a disappointing book. I purposely chose to read this one next, because Mrs. Eason is one of my favorite authors. This story was fascinating the whole way through, and I’m hopeful it’s snapped me out of a slight reading slump. I’m also hoping to love it even more when I eventually reread the series. This series is one of Mrs. Eason’s best, though I’m still partial to her Women of Justice trilogy, the first of her books I ever read.

Vow of Justice by Lynette Eason is one thrilling tale of justice served. A young woman lived through a terrible ordeal and wants to justice. As an FBI agent, she can get the man and another evil man locked way for life. Only they somehow find her and her cover is blown. From there, she's afraid for the crime boss's daughter, who is her only ally someone she ended up caring for. The young daughter knows her dad is evil. He did something in front of her and since then she too, wants justice. Death can change people. It can also make them stronger. Both agent Allison and the teenage girl, will learn to cope, fight, and get their's only a matter of time. Allison and her team are thrown for several surprising loops. A man they trusted is against them. But who? One agent believes the other is dead. Only one is stuck hiding and the other is out to get revenge for his partner's death.

Nothing in this novel, was predictable. I loved it. The characters kept me guessing. They way they reacted left a lot to be done and said. I wouldn't know what they would do or say, until they did. Then there were the bad guys who kept popping up when they were least expected. Twists and turns everywhere. The pages flew by fast. The plot was action driven mostly. The characters helped speed it up as well. Entertaining from the beginning, I was hooked. Overall, this was one edge of your sear kind of romantic suspense read. I recommend it to all readers.

Great end to the series! I love, love, love Linc, and Allie's murky past had me very intrigued (and eventually heartbroken, but that's another thing). I also liked the fact that they knew and were close to each other before, rather than falling in love with a complete stranger. :P

The mystery was very intriguing and had a bunch of surprising twists. I did figure out some of them before the reveal, but I have to give credit to clues dropped in the book for at least one of them. ;) (view spoiler)

We didn't get quite as much of the rest of the St. John family in this one as in some others, but I loved them every time they appeared. <3 They're just such a wonderful group, and I adore them so much! Love the way this series wrapped up!

'At the door he stood to the side, then kicked it in. And came face to face with a dead woman.'

Lynette Eason has completely outdone herself with this offering in her crazy good 'Blue Justice' series.

Linc St. John, an FBI Special Agent is totally stunned and devastated to discover that Allie Radcliffe, the woman he dearly loves, has been killed in an explosion. Things, however, are not always what they seem, and Linc must find a way to cope with what is happening now. Allie and Linc will now have to work fast, hard and dangerously to stop a determined killer before one of them ends up dead for real.

Eason hits the ground running with this one and the action does not let up one little tiny bit throughout the book. Russian mobsters, tracking devices that don't quit, one injury after another, not knowing who to trust, these are the things which make this book good. Besides, the great writing, of course. I was completely captivated and could not wait to finish! And the ending.....ahhhh, Eason ties it up beautifully. In my opinion, this is her best book ever! I highly recommend this one, folks. Don't miss it.

Vow of Justice by Lynette Eason is another example of why Eason is at the top of her game when it comes to writing suspense. I know she creates in the romantic suspense genre, but I think she is leans more heavily on the suspense side, which I LOVE. I love returning to the St. John's family. The family dynamic reminds me of the television show, Blue Bloods, which I adore. In Vow of Justice, Linc finally receives his moment to shine and tell his story. The romance between Allison and Linc moves normally, but readers have seen their relationship if they read the other three books in the series, so it shouldn't be so much of a surprise. The plot was definitely a tension filled and non-stop action. I had a really hard time putting the book down. I wanted the keep flipping pages. Who needs sleep anyways? Eason is a master at making her characters squirm and wiggle on the end of the rope. Fans of suspense should definitely pick this book up and add it to their collection.

The St. John family may be one of my favorite families next to Dee Henderson's O’Malleys and I’m sad to see their stories come to an end.

I’ve been wondering about Linc since book one. There was something about the FBI agent that had me curious. As the story opened, I honestly wasn’t sure where the book was going to go (I didn’t read the blurb). As the story developed and the relationship between Linc and Allie wobbled on shaky ground, I kept turning the pages.

The whodunnit isn’t cut and dry. I admit I guessed a culprit but that wasn’t the end of the story. Through the pages I enjoyed the story as it unfolded and the mixture of romance and suspense (an awesome combo).

It was another great read by Ms. Eason and I’ll eagerly await her next release.

I absolutely loved this book! Start to finish loved it! The plot of this book hooked me and kept my interest until the last page. I think Allie and Linc were such great characters and I loved their interactions! This has been my favorite suspense read of the year so far! Vow of Justice had multiple layers that I don't often find in a suspense book. The characters had great depth and Allie in particular had a background that really played into the entire plot of the story which made things even more intriguing. I loved that Allie was smart and capable and while Linc was protective of her, he knew she could handle herself and allowed her to do her job without treating her like she was breakable. This book had enough danger and action to keep me guessing without going overboard into the super unbelievable realm. I thought that this book was really balanced with pacing, romance, action and suspense. It was just an all around exceptional suspense book and I am a little sad to see this series end. However, I am definitely looking forward to whatever Lynette Eason sends our way next!

Suzie Waltner rated “Vow of Justice” a 4 out of 5 Stars
I’ve spent three books and a novella with the St. John clan and looked forward to finally getting to learn more about Linc. And oh, boy, did Lynette Eason take me on a white-knuckle roller coaster of a ride.

Allie and Linc are great partners. They trust each other with their lives and are willing to face difficult things head on to protect each other. Even better, they’re friends.

While I figured out who was the cause of all Allie and Linc’s troubles early on, Eason still managed to throw a few surprises my way. And, of course, some of those St. John siblings jump in as back up. This is truly a family that serves and protects. More so when it’s one of their own in need.

True to Eason’s style, Vow of Justice weighs heavier on the action and suspense than the romance. But even that works well for Allie and Linc because of their history and friendship. It’s a love that’s built between them naturally and can weather the truths that change Linc’s knowledge of Allie’s identity.

Denise Hershberger rated “Vow of Justice” a 4 out of 5 Stars
I enjoyed this latest installment in the St. John family. Linc and Allie were great partners and of course seeing old friends from previous books was great too.

Normally I'm all about the romance in a book, but I wasn't crazy about a romantic relationship between FBI partners. But that being said, aside from the work implications I liked their story. And I like that the romance wasn't the main part of the book.

As far as the suspense goes I loved this book. There were some twists and turns I didn't see coming! I did figure out who the bad guy was and another big part of the story, but there were plenty of details that kept me intrigued. In some ways this book reminded me of one of my all time favorite TV shows, Alias!

Vow of Justice by Lynette Eason is the final book in the Blue Justice series. This one is about brother Lincoln St. John, a special agent with the FBI and his partner Allison Radcliffe. “Playing dead might just get her killed”

Undercover, in order to find evidence to put away a major player in the Russian Mafia, Allison is very much in danger. After an explosion, she is convinced by her boss to play dead. When her partner, Linc, finds out she is still alive, they work together to make sense of all the diverse clues. Allison’s past comes back to haunt her. There is so much intrigue in this story. Linc gives her advice or a word of warning: “Just remember. Justice and revenge are two very different things.”

After an incident, Allie says: ”In my head I kept hearing you saying that justice and revenge are two very different things. And then that Bible verse popped into my head. The one about vengeance is the Lord’s.” Linc replies: “God has a way of doing that. Of sticking with you and speaking to you when you need it. Or least expect it.”

The action is fast and the bad guys abound. This suspenseful book will have you turning pages quickly and on the edge of your seat frequently throughout this carefully honed story. The author showcases the closeness of the St. John family and their steadfast faith shines. They are always ready to help one another.

Brother Derek seems to have been left out of these stories. But never fear, Ms. Eason has plans for him in a novella collection: Protecting Tanner Hollow.

I enjoyed this series immensely and look forward to more from one of my favorite authors.

Incredible! This book is further evidence of why Lynette Eason has a permanent spot on my list of favorite authors! She never disappoints, and always yanks me into her stories at page one! I can now officially say that the Blue Justice series is my favorite series of Lynette's to date, and I am absolutely thrilled to say that I simply cannot choose a favorite book in the series, they are all equally fantabulous! I don't want to risk giving anything away so I will just say that I loved catching up with the St. John family, I loved Linc and Allie, I loved the moments of humor sprinkled in at just the right time, and I loved the suspense that had me teetering on the edge of my seat!

In short, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED everything about this phenomenal book, and it met and totally exceeded all my expectations! Even though thinking about saying goodbye to the St. John family makes me want to cry, I am so thankful I got to go on this adventure with them all! I'm always in my happy place when reading a Lynette Eason book, her amazing stories of good triumphing over evil never fail to thrill me, and I cannot wait to read her next book! Vow of Justice is an absolute must read, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

I've loved this series from the very first book, the novella and the gripping conclusion. Lynette Eason is a writer that doesn't disappoint. Like the others, the plot starts out with an explosive opening and the tension only builds from there. The characters were easy to care about and the story had enough unpredictable twists and turns to keep me guessing until the closing chapters. Excited to read this author's next offering.
