In this challenging time of social distancing and unprecedented disruptions to daily life, we must remember that we’re all in this together.

COVID-19 has highlighted the necessity of having access to safe and affordable housing. Our healthcare professionals are on the frontlines of this crisis so we can be safe at home. Yet, for many families in our community, a safe home is not a reality.

Thanks to your past support, hundreds of people in Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford and Perth counties have a safe, stable place to protect their families right now.

For those of us blessed with a secure roof over our heads, weathering this pandemic may seem like an inconvenience. But for far too many in our community – those who live in unaffordable, unsafe or overcrowded conditions – staying home to stay safe is not just inconvenient. It is impossible.

In response, Habitat Heartland has established the Home Together Fund.

The Home Together Fund seeks to undertake the following:
  • Continuing to expand family outreach and providing resources for our current Habitat Homeowners.

  • Deploying ReStore trucks to support direct service community partners through the distribution of essential items.

  • Keep our builds moving forward as quickly and as safely as possible so that more Habitat Heartland families can have a decent, safe and affordable place to call home.

During these difficult times, we must stay positive and remember that while we may be in different boats, we are all weathering this storm together.

We're all #hometogether, and in a time like this, home makes all the difference.

All charitable gifts are welcome and deeply appreciated.
