4LifeLondon wishes to thank everyone who took time out of their day on March 5th to come to our Say No to Censorship rally on front of London City Hall!
With the help of many members of 4LifeLondon, they were able to send a strong message that London's pro-life movement will not stand for censorship.
Unfortunately, London City Council voted to make city staff write up a new report, with new recommendations for a by-law to censor signs with pre-born children on them. This report is to be ready by the end of June.
That being said, even more city councillors voted against the motion this time than in December's meeting! Please pray that two more city councillors to change their mind about censoring pro-life protest when the next report comes out, so that this legislation can come to an end.
Please contact your city councillor if you haven't already done so. The pro-life group We Need A Law
has created a tool to make it as easy as possible to email London's city councillors. Their
SimpleMail webpage will automatically target your email towards London's city councillors. If you haven't already done so, I'd advise you
to click the link here and take just a few minutes to send an email to London's City Councillors telling them that you oppose the censorship of pre-born images and that they should stop trying to censor pro-life protest.
Here's how city councillors voted. If your councillor voted "nay", call them and thank them. If they voted "yea" call them and ask them to stand against pro-life censorship when the next vote comes up:
